Healthy Life Foods will be launching later on this year.
Our site will include a variety of articles on healthy diet which will incorporate the latest research and medical findings. The aim of this site will be to provide education about healthy diet alternatives which will not only assist those wishing to lose weight, but will lead to more energy, better all around health, and promote youthfulness and longevity.
It is our opinion that the incidences of heart disease and cancer which affect so many people are largely avoidable by following a correct diet, more specifically a "living" diet, coupled with daily exercise. I emphasise the word living because it is our belief that most people consume far too many processed and cooked foods as opposed to unprocessed and uncooked foods. The cooking process kills the living enzymes and essential amino acids within food, as well as many essential nutrients. If your diet consists primarily of cooked and/or processed foods, you are essentially eating dead food.
Each of us are composed of some three trillion living cells, each of which reproduce and regenerate on a regular basis. In fact, 95% of our entire body is reproduced within 12 months. We receive a new liver every nine weeks, and a new stomach every five weeks.
The type of diet that you eat has a direct bearing on the quality of cells which your body can reproduce. If your diet consists of predominantly cooked and/or processed foods, the quality of cells that you body reproduces as the years roll on will diminish - you will age faster and become more prone to illness.
However, if you switch your diet to predominantly living foods, your cell quality and overall health, energy, youthfulness and vitality will begin to increase. You will be less prone to illness and your body will become better able to heal itself from any problems that you may have previously had.
Whilst we are not strict adherents to any particular dietary regime, you will note that the information provided on this website will lean heavily towards eating a largely uncooked and vegetarian diet. I do say "largely", because I am also a meat eater, but I only eat organically raised meats, and this only for two or three meals a week. So the bulk of my diet is vegetarian, although I consume organic free range eggs almost daily. We will provide the latest scientific and research findings to back up our conclusions as to why we feel that a largely, but not necessarily exclusively, uncooked and vegetarian diet is the healthiest alternative for humans.
We will also include other information about your general health and well-being not specific to diet. We will be including a section on dentistry, and the dangers of root canals and mercury laced amalgam fillings, and the alternatives available. We will also create a section on the impact of EMF's, or electro-magnetic radiation, on our nervous system and wellbeing, and how we can minimise our exposure to EMF's in the modern home and office.
And of course, let's not forget the absolutely necessary requirement of regular exercise (daily, or at least every two days) to allow the body to flush out toxins via the lymphatic system. Yes... good health is a combination of many factors at work.
So stay tuned... we have many projects on the go and HealthyLifeFoods.com is but one of them. Our intent is to provide quality, thorough and well researched information, and it will take some time for us to write sufficient content so that we can make the launch of this website a reality later on in 2007.
